How You Can Help

How Can You Help?
You don’t have to be a senior citizen to become involved with The Senior Citizens Council!
You may choose to give a monetary gift or to volunteer your time and ideas to help expand our mission - we are grateful you want to help our organization!
Our programs are designed to help our seniors stay active by helping young people reach their potential in school, or becoming a peer companion for homebound or disabled individuals and helping them remain vital members of our community.
We utilize the skills and knowledge of our seniors to broaden the horizons of younger generations and to be an understanding ally to individuals who need additional care or services.
We look forward to hearing from you. Please call us at (706) 868-0120 or Contact Us today and we will find the perfect volunteering opportunity for you. Seniors interesting in volunteering, please click here.

DONATE!
The services we provide to our area seniors are at no cost to them. Everyone needs a little help, including us. We would be able to provide more services if more funds were available. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) status organization, we depend on every donors' dollars and gifts of time to support and grow our programs.
All donations are appreciated and would be used to expand our services and programs. We are working toward accepting online donations through our website, however at this time we welcome your checks or money orders to be mailed to the post office address posted at the bottom of this page and on the Home Page.
Thank you for your support!
